SD Zoo:
The SD zoo was amazing! I remember going there when I was little and it being HUGE, and I thought on the way going to the field trip that its probably small since now I'm older, but no it wasn't. It was still huge and getting bigger! There was a lot of construction going on expanding the zoo. It was so cool seeing all types of animals and what not. The scavenger hunt really pushed us to go see lots of animals and to ask question about them as well. Overall it was a fun, learning experience going back when I'm older.
Safari Park:
The safari park was very hot but interesting. I do remember going there too when I was little but not that much as the zoo. It was so cool how they took us behind the scenes and gave us a mini lesson. It showed us what real scientist are doing on the daily. It was a really fun and learning experience, I will definitely remember it. The scavenger hunt was really hard because everything was all spread out but it gave us the opportunity to look at everything and go across the whole park to see things.
SeaWorld:
SeaWorld was absolutely great. I was really hyped to go ever since the teacher told the class because I actually wanted to go and I went there when I was little and I really missed it. It was so fascinating to see all the sea animals and how they are presented. We also went behind the scenes as well it was cool seeing what the workers do every day and how they maintain everything. One part I really loved was going on top of the sting ray tank. It was a huge tank with a bunch of rays and just seeing it in a different perspective was really nice.
Birch Aquarium:
I have also been to the birch aquarium before as well when I was little. It was nice going back there and seeing all the stuff I remembered back then. It was really nice actually getting a deeper understanding and learning more about the place and all the sea animals or creatures. One exhibit that really caught my eye was the big tank with the giant sea bass. It was so calming just watching the fish swimming around. I could sit there all day. Also the outside touch tanks were dope as well and the view of the beach too. I got to talk to a lot of the workers and ask them questions about fish and creatures. They were really nice and very smart. Overall very nice experience.
