Biology honors consisted of scientific articles about environmental science, that we had to annotate and analyze. These articles usually contained very detailed information about environmental issues that directly affect fish or the ocean. These articles were at a very high academic level in terms of vocabulary and information. As students we had to annotate and understand these packets to the best of our capability. Then we brought the knowledge we gained from those articles to discussions we held every other week. After sharing our understandings with each other, we had a quiz we had to take to see if our understandings were correct. This process was a very challenging, yet exciting new task to take on, and I believe I handled it very well.
