Resonance of Remberance
Description of our first project of the year!
IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME PICKING THE PERSON TO WRITE ABOUT, BUT SINCE WE JUST LEARNED ABOUT DIA DE LOS MUERTOS WHICH IS THE "DAY OF THE DEAD.' THAT REALLY REMINDED ME OF MY GRANDPA THAT RECENTLY PASSED AWAY. SO I CHOSE HIM AND NOW I HAD TO THINK OF A LIFE CHANGING MOMENT WITH HIM. MY LAST MEMORY WITH HIM WAS ACTUALLY A LIFE CHANGING MOMENT WITH HIM. IT WAS ABOUT HOW HE PASSED AWAY.SO THAT'S WHAT I WROTE ABOUT AND I HAD TO EXPLAIN THE STORY AS DETAILED AND AS THOROUGH AS I CAN UNDER THE REQUIREMENTS. WHEN I FINISHED I RECORDED MYSELF READING IT AND PUT IT TOGETHER WITH THE SOUNDTRACK I MADEFROM PHYSICS. THEN WE SEND IT TO MS JANNA AND WE ARE ALL DONE!IT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME PICKING THE PERSON TOWRITE ABOUT, BUT SINCE WE JUST LEARNED ABOUT DIA DE LOS MUERTOS WHICH IS THE "DAY OF THE DEAD.' My Grandpa
nostalgia
I remember waking up on the perfect day in the middle of spring. The sun shining through my window. My curtains swaying back and forth because of the flowing breeze. Today was also the day my mom was getting a new car! Everything was great except that my grandpa had colon cancer. My family had been taking really good care of him getting his food, help him take a shower, and anything we could do to help. We all had a lot of hope but we all were also very scared and feared the future, so we prayed every night for him.
We spent a few hours there looking and inspecting for the jeep my mom always wanted. We finally came across a car we all liked. It was a dark green, used Jeep Liberty but looked new.I liked how the seats were a lot more comfortable than my mom’s old Durango. It was at a good price and suited all my mom’s needs. My parents were finally signing off on the car!

Then my mom got a phone call from one of my aunts. This was not a good phone call. I can tell on my mom's face she was holding emotions back. It was hard for me to hear what was being said. I definitely “Come now!, being shrieked through the phone.
After the phone call my mom said we had to leave right now. and I was scared. I had no clue what was going on. We left right away. My sister and I just kept asking questions desperately for answers. My mom just started crying a little and that's when my sister and I went silent. We ended up at my grandpa’s house and the way my mom rushed was frightening me. WE walked in the house to see a lot of my family in tears.

It turns out my grandpa had just died a few minutes before we got there. My family said that he was staring at the top corner of the ceiling with his pupils dilating, “talking” with my uncle who had passed away a couple months ago from a heart attack. He kept saying “take me with you.” Which to us meant leaving to heaven.
I was in a room with my oldest cousins. We honestly couldn’t believe what just happened. He was taken by the Glenn Abbey funeral service. To be honest I don't even know what my actions were. I was stuck in moment.

The day after I finally understood everything. Made me cry a little thinking about the memories we had together. I especially remember how he loved that I was passionate about playing basketball and he always loved talking about how one day i’m going to be in the nba. He was such a strong person and created an amazing family. In a way I feel that he’s still with me and always will be. He made feel like the sky’s the limit.
