History From Above
1. How can we use the mistakes and triumphs of WWII to guide our actions in Syria?
Well I personally believe we shouldn't make the mistake of letting Isis which are the Nazis in this case get as big as they did in WW2 because it's obviously a harder task that way and you wanna get rid of the problem when it's small and doesn't involve much in my opinion. In WW2 the US was hesitant about getting involved with the Germany situation and I see why because it's not our problem I just don't want Isis to ever grow as big as the Nazis and never do what they had done over half a century ago.
Does history have to repeat itself?
With this situation, I do see similarities and I will describe them to you. So the first one I see is that there is a crazy leader Maliki(Hitler) killing off a race he doesn't like. Then I see Isis(Nazis) killing a lot of people who don't believe in their cause. Then relating to the killing I see that they both have a cause that they want their race or religion to all fight for and believe in. Those are just some of the things that I have noticed about how this Isis/Syria crisis relate to what happened in WW2.
